01
The Problem
Remote job searching creates repeated friction for candidates.
- Long, repetitive ATS application forms
- The same screening questions across different applications
- Manual application tracking
- “Remote” roles that are actually country-restricted
- Difficulty identifying worldwide, visa-sponsored or relocation-friendly opportunities
How might we reduce repetitive application work while helping candidates find roles they are actually eligible to apply for?
02
Product Strategy
One journey, end to end
- Upload résumé
- Build profile
- Find eligible remote roles
- Apply faster
- Track automatically
The target users include global remote job seekers and international candidates who need greater clarity around location restrictions, sponsorship and relocation.

03
Core Product Experience
Rather than a list of features, each capability exists to remove work from one stage of the same application journey.
Set up
AI profile builder
Parses a résumé so candidates don't rebuild their history by hand.
Find
Remote job discovery
Distinguishes worldwide remote roles from those restricted by country, offering relocation or providing visa sponsorship.
Apply
Chrome autofill extension
Reduces repetitive form filling across career portals and ATS forms.
Apply
Screening answer memory
Remembers recurring application choices securely, so they aren't retyped.
Track
Automatic application tracker
Applications submitted through the extension can be logged into the candidate dashboard.
Profile setup feeds discovery, discovery feeds the extension and the extension feeds tracking, so effort spent once is reused across every later application.
04
Assist, Don't Take Over
One of the most important product decisions was not to create a completely autonomous application bot.
Automate the repetition, not the candidate's judgement.
01 · System
Fills recurring fields and known answers.
02 · Candidate
Reviews the prepared application.
03 · Candidate
Approves and submits.
This keeps the candidate in control of application quality, including what is claimed, what is tailored and what is finally sent. It still removes the repetitive typing that makes applying to many roles exhausting.
05
Privacy as a Product Decision
Recurring screening answers can contain sensitive information such as:
- Work authorisation
- Sponsorship requirements
- Notice period
- Candidate preferences
Rather than treating privacy as an afterthought, the product direction prioritised protection on the candidate's device for recurring choices.
How a saved answer travels
- Candidate answer
- Protection on the candidate's device
- Autofill when needed
Convenience should not require unnecessary centralisation of sensitive candidate information.
06
Solving the “Remote” Problem
A major discovery was that remote does not always mean work from anywhere. The product therefore classifies opportunities rather than lumping them together.
Worldwide remote
Open to candidates in any location.
Country-restricted
Advertised as remote, but limited to specific countries.
Visa sponsored
Employer supports work authorisation.
Relocation offered
Employer supports moving to the role's location.
This reduces the time international candidates spend opening jobs they cannot actually apply for, and makes eligibility a first-class part of discovery instead of something buried in the job description.

08
Product Trade-offs
How much of the application should the product automate?
Option A
Full application automation
Faster, but less candidate oversight and greater risk of inaccurate submissions.
Option B
Controlled auto-fill
Automates repetitive inputs while keeping the candidate responsible for reviewing and submitting.
Decision
Controlled auto-fill
Application quality stays with the person whose name is on the application.
Where should recurring screening answers live?
Option A
Centralised answer storage
Potentially simpler cross-device access, but greater sensitivity and privacy considerations.
Option B
Client-side protection
Keeps recurring candidate choices closer to the user.
Decision
Privacy-first approach
Convenience shouldn't require unnecessary centralisation of sensitive candidate information.
